Listed below are the guidelines for object stat setting.  Please adhere to the limits if you wish for your area to be approved for use.  (If in doubt about the appropriateness of a setting, please ask)

* I’ve added spell level for any item that calls for it, wands, staves, thrown objects ect.

**  Addapply should be used sparingly, where it says minor there sould be only minor effects added and it should hold a draw back (Ie, gives haste, but calms, or resists fire, but gives vuln cold) be vary careful in using addapply.

# Stats refer to ability scores: Strength, Intelligence, Wisdom, ect…

***IMPORTANT***
If you are making items with multiple slots (neck, fingers, wings, etc.), the Extras to the eq piece should be halved.  If your intent for say, neck eq is A total of –50 added to saves, please make each piece –25.  Split the extras To the eq, it’s far too easy to make overpowered eq otherwise.

  • No age increases on equipment
  • No level increases on equipment
  • No any stat over 3 on equipment
  • No more than 2 stats raised by 2
  • Although there are set maxes on objects, it is important not to set the max stat on every item, a weapon that has the max damage for its level doesn't really need the max hp and mana bonuses as well.

 
 

CLASS WEAPON RESTRICTIONS

Sorceror Tier Exotics (can use all exotics), Whips/chains (as whips),  Spears/staves (as staves)
Assassin Tier Daggers, Sword (shortsword only), Spears (as throwing spears)
Sage Tier Swords, Mace/Club/Hammer (as mace/club), Spears/staves (as spear), Exotics (can only use class restricted Sage exotics)
Paladin Tier Sword, Polearm, Whipes, Maces, Flails, Daggers
Barbarian Tier Axes, Swords, Mace, Polearms, Spears, Flails
Bishop Tier Mace, Flail, Exotics (class restricted only, like Sage)
Telepath Tier Mace, Axe (as hand axes), Swords, Exotics (class restricted only, like Sage)
Demon Tier Exotics (cannot use class restricted Bishop or Telepath flagged weapons, but can use Sage),  Daggers, Whips, Spears

 
These flags are in the Class field and are critical to making equipment.  Assassins can only use shortswords, which are not as powerful as regular swords.

Please keep in mind that damage averages should also go along with class.  Barbarian weapons should be made weaker than magical ones.  Please think carefully, stat other equipment, and like all else, ask.
